Subject: St. Nicholas Day

Update for today:
We celebrate St. Nicholas Day as a way to remind the kids the TRUE meaning of Christmas. As the wise men make their way from the entry to our Nativity, we reflect on the preparation of Jesus' birth. I hope to be organized enough to create a Jesse Tree next year, I love how it takes the kids step by step through The Bible in preparation for Christ's birth.

St. Nicholas leaves the kids each a new pair of PJ’s and a new ornament for our tree. He also leaves them notes to remind them that Christmas is about giving and caring for others, just like St. Nicholas did many years ago.

The following are just some photos of David, Christopher and Kaytlin playing in the snow. Andrew was sick.
