After many requests to share our story, I have tried to re-create our original website here. The format isn't as "cute" as our original website was visually, but the story is here. A number of pictures seem to have disappeared, and I will try to find them again. :)
12/19/2005 I asked Allen what he thought about adopting a daughter from China. With three beautiful boys, he felt that our family was complete, but agreed to pray about adoption.

2/9/2006 Allen and I attended an informational seminar provided by European Adoption Consultants. As we sat there listening, I saw a glimmer in his eye...although not ready to start the process, we took the first step towards bringing our daughter home.
2/15/2006 Started sending Allen "The Ladybug of the Day". These were photos of beautiful little girls, who happened to be born in China.

This beautiful Ladybug just happens to be my niece...the Indians Outfit is what finally made Allen say, "Yes". OK, lots of prayer led him to say Yes, but he told me the day after I sent him this photo.
2/20/2006 I called EAC and spoke with Chris Kelland. I was just calling to gather information. I asked her about their Waiting Children program. She said that they had only completed a few Special Needs adoptions, but that Mr. Zhou would call The China Center for Adoption Affairs and as request the file of a little girl with clubfoot. Surprised, I clarified that we were just in the "thinking about this" stage, and she said that was fine. I called Allen at work, my head spinning. He was just as surprised.
2/21/2006 I called EAC again and Chris told me that we could have our daughter’s file in our hands by the middle of March. I called Allen again, and told him we had some major praying to do. We needed to decide if we were going to move ahead.
3/1/2006 I called my Mom and asked her to contact the Health Department and Probate court to get copies my birth certificate and copies of our marriage license. Our dossier was started.
