Subject: Brave little girl
Update for today:
We had to clean the wounds on Kaytlin’s feet for the first time tonight. I think we were all scared. Allen and I were scared that we may hurt her, and Kaytlin was scared because she knew her feet had "boo boos" and we were messing with them. She was a brave little girl, and although she cried, and wanted her shoes back on (her splints) she came through like a champ. I will admit, I prayed the entire time I was cleaning the wounds. I prayed that I didn't hurt this little girl any more than necessary, and I prayed that I didn't cry or let her know how scared I was! I am so proud of her. When she was all done, we did her hair and painted her toe nails pink!
